DuraUni vulcanised ducting is a versatile product, suitable for the transportation of liquids, solids and gasses in a wide range of applications. Pick the right components to match your specific needs regarding temperature, pressure, medium, chemical abrasion, mechanical abrasion, mechanical forces and connectivity.
The DuraUni range is produced by vulcanising the desired layers of fabric onto a metal mandrel, creating a bonded duct which is particularly solid, yet flexible and uniform.
Vulcanised ducts can be constructed using single and two-ply specifications, where the spiral can be located on the inside, outside or simply sandwiched between two layers of fabric. Most DuraUni products are manufactured in 4 meter lengths, but can be spliced, to create single duct with lengths of up to 20 meters. The accurate selection of raw materials, in combination with meticulous assembly procedures, is what lends DuraUni products their quality, performance and longevity.
Standard products are coiled, using copper plated steel wire, but can also be replaced using acrylic or carbon spirals for specific uses, such as anti-static, fire retardant, magnetic or super-lightweight specifications.
